When I started my business a year and a half ago I didn’t know what I wanted it to be or hoped it would become. All I knew was that I wanted to be a wedding and event planner and I didn’t want to work for someone else. So naturally, when it came to picking a name I used my own to avoid choosing a name that I would regret later on. Now that I’ve spent some time working in the industry and believe I have really grown into my style, I came to the conclusion that it was time to change my branding into what I’m all about. I want to be the go-to wedding planner for rustic chic weddings, a blog of creative ideas and advice for brides to follow, a friend to the many talented wedding vendors out there, and a stress reliever to every bride that wants a planner to make her planning process a fun and exciting experience.
So… back to the name! I spent a couple months waiting for the right name, writing down all the words that I wanted my business to be and wrote out a business plan. I chose “Created” because I like to work with brides that really want to take the time to add personal touches to their wedding; where we come together to really “create” their day into everything they ever imagined. I chose “Lovely” because I wanted a word that was romantic, feminine and encompassing of what I want guests to say when they see the wedding for the first time, as something truly “lovely”. So here it is… a little preview of my new business branding called Created Lovely.
My new branding should be complete in the next couple weeks or so (depending how busy my amazing designer is) so stay tuned. I can’t wait to share it with you!
